When should I talk to my Doctor?

Many people experience bowel upsets from time to time. However, we would recommend that you speak to your GP if you have:

Painless bleeding from the bowel without symptoms of piles
A new and persistent (longer than 6 weeks) change in bowel habit to looser stools
A close relation (parent, brother or sister) with bowel cancer
